故事舞台设在一间乡下复古理发店——月白理容室。表面上，这里只是普通的理发店，实则店主月白司（草川拓弥 饰）拥有另一重身份：表为理发师，里为“暗理师”，专门替客人解决表社会无法处理的棘手麻烦。只需300万，他便用剪刀和拳头同时“整理”依赖者的人生。前美容师日暮步（中岛步 饰）因机缘巧合入住店中，与月白司一边拌嘴、一边共度日常，又携手承接形形色色的秘密委托。既有剪发般静谧的人生重启，也有拳脚相向的激烈动作，静与动交织，打造全新感官体验。

　曾是“科搜研王牌”的主妇吉冈诗织（松本真理香 饰），一边处理家务育儿，一边以科学推理破解各种案件。丈夫道彦（横山裕 饰）是刚调任搜查一课的新手刑警，推理略显不足，却常以直觉命中关键。五岁儿子亮介（佐藤大空 饰）也以童真的观察加入调查，形成一家三口协力破案的独特模式。作品融合本格推理与家庭伦理，既呈现精巧谜案，也描绘现代家庭的真实面貌。

Series two will reunite us with Detective Sergeant Mackenzie ‘Mack’ Clarke (Anna Samson), who’s longing to get back to the UK and the life she’s always craved.
