本作は泥棒という裏の顔を持つカフェ店員・木梨栄木が、警官の眉村ゆずきの部屋で一仕事をするところから展開するサスペンスコメディ。木梨は彼女の部屋で「ずっとお前を見ているからな」という手紙を見つけ驚くも、難なく盗みを終える。そしてある日バイトを終えて家に帰ると、愛犬・天然くんがいなくなっていることに気付くのだった。

When their mother dies, three estranged siblings return to their family home for a weekend to determine what to do about their father, who suffers from dementia.

　　本片改编自曾获得读卖文学奖戏曲·剧本奖的松田正隆所著舞台剧，以不下雨的长崎夏天为舞台，讲述了主人公·小浦治（小田切让 饰）因儿子去世的丧失感而停止了人生时间的故事。被妻子惠子（松隆子 饰）抛弃的他，和妹妹阿佐子（满岛光 饰）留下的17岁侄女优子（高石明里 饰）开始共同生活，故事由此展开。治在惠子去接儿子牌位的时候隐约注意到了他工作过的造船厂同事阵野（森山直太朗 饰）和持田（光石研 饰），优子在打工的地方结识了前辈立山（高桥文哉 饰）。失去爱的男人，放弃爱的女人，以及不懂爱的少女。每个人在面对各自苦楚的同时，在如夏日沙石般干涸的心中，发现了小小的希望之芽。

Fencing master Clément Lacaze tries in vain to prevent his nephew from engaging in an uneven duel with the more experienced Colonel Berchère. Marie-Rose Astié de Valsayre, a feminist fighting for women’s equality, tries to show that honor is not just a male affair. Actor and director Vincent Perez’s historical film makes excellent use of various forms of duels  – with épées, pistols, and sabres on horseback.

This door isn’t that of her apartment. And the bag she wants to recover at all costs isn’t hers, but Yannick’s, a man whose questions Mady will have to answer to. Caught in a hellish race, Mady only has one night to prove her innocence in a bustling city. One night to save her own skin.
