It will follow the story of twin sisters Lily and Abby, whose lives are shattered when Lily is abducted from their quiet rural English town by beloved local teacher Rick Hansen. After years of abuse in captivity, Lily escapes, only to discover that freedom brings its own challenges. The world she longed to return to has moved on without her. As Abby, Lily and their mother Eve struggle to rebuild their family, they must confront the lasting damage and the terrifying reality that Rick is still out there, determined to control the narrative and evade justice.
Season three finds former British spy Sylvia Fox, played by Silent Witness star Emilia Fox, mentally and physically recovered from her abduction at the end Season 2 and back to enjoying her life in Italy. But she’s still waiting for answers from her ex-husband, Adam Haines, about his past dealings with her kidnapper. Across the season, Sylvia Fox is investigating the murder of the owner of a local winery, and probing the mystery of a beautiful young man found dead in the bed of a power couple who claim never to have seen him before. Meanwhile, Sylvia’s relationship with Carabinieri captain Giovanni Riva deepens, but the finalization of Riva’s divorce and his desire to set down roots in Umbria threatens Sylvia’s sense of independence. In the final episode, Sylvia experiences an emotional crisis as someone close to her suffers a violent death, and Adam returns, injured and in danger, to ask for Sylvia’s help, and test her loyalties to the limit.
The offshoot would center on Maria Sten‘s fan favorite character Frances Neagley, a corporate security professional and former military colleague of Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit.
Based on Tamara Trottner’s debut novel of the same name, the series is a gritty story inspired by Trottner’s own life. Set against the historical backdrop of 1960s Mexico, the plot revolves around a Jewish mother in relentless pursuit of her family amid a conflict between two powerful families of the same religion. The narrative kicks off in 1964, the year Valeria returns home one morning to find her house perfectly organized, but her daughter and son missing.
