The Mannequin follows Liana Rojas (Gomez), a creatively starved stylist assistant who discovers the historical downtown Los Angeles building where her sister mysteriously died is haunted by a serial killer who brutally murdered and dismembered his victims there half a century earlier. This forces Liana and her friends to find a way to free themselves and escape the sinister ghost before they lose their own body parts.

Actress Žygimantė Jakštaitė (“Runner”) plays Lina, a Vilnius morgue medic who becomes fascinated by the mysterious disappearance of a sailor named Vilkas (Wolf). Her obsession leads her to eerie places and disturbing encounters. The clock is ticking as Lina searches for the lost man.
Repression and taboos have shaped the image of womanhood for Ana (68), Patricia (69) and Mayela (71). Their stories poetically combine to form a kaleidoscope of memories, secrets and longings that are incarnated by another woman’s body.

国共合作的北伐战争后期的1927年，蒋中正为代表的国民党新军阀背叛国民革命的迹象日益明显。他在一次集会上发表“训话”，表明反共倾向，还让时任国民革命军总政治部中将副主任的郭沫若拿着扩音喇叭对他的每句话重复一遍，郭沫若很愕然。他对时任国民革命军上将总司令的老蒋的发言很不理解。 蒋中正在庐山召集党政军知名人士开会，孙夫人宋庆龄和廖夫人何香凝也应邀参加。会上，老蒋要解除苏俄特使鲍罗廷的职务，遭到宋庆龄和何香凝的反对，国民党左派领袖邓演达（中国农工民主党的创始人）也不赞成，而且还谢绝了老蒋要将邓演达升职的意见。郭沫若在化妆舞会上鄙视老蒋及其追随者，宣称：我是偶像的崇拜者，也是偶像的破坏者。 郭沫若耳闻目睹蒋中正、杨虎勾结反动势力，绞杀工农运动。郭老曾去总司令部向老蒋请示法办欺压工农的豪绅恶霸，竟遭到拒绝；后来杨虎竟然干涉郭老与部下支持工农、逮捕劣绅的行动,后来还杀害了工农领袖。郭沫若曾经想动员第七军军长、桂军首领李宗仁将军倒蒋，可是未成功。有几个细节值得注意，郭老在俩政治部的警卫跟随下去总司令部找老蒋惩办豪绅，进门时由于匆忙未能给门口敬礼的两位卫兵还礼，出门时因为气愤，又没敬礼。后来找李宗仁，开始也是由于心急没敬礼，但是出门时由于对李宗仁还怀有希望、对俩卫兵的敬礼还礼了。这是我多次对这几个细节观察思考后的看法。郭老忿然在1927年3月写下了《请看今日之蒋介石》，指出他已不是北伐军的总司令，而是一切反动势力的代表。 国民党军阀终于向人民举刀，郭沫若向周恩来表示：要跟着共产党走。老蒋在南京建立了代表帝国主义、官僚资本主义和封建势力利益的‘国民政府’。1927年8月，郭沫若加入南昌起义部队组建的第二方面军，在南下途中加入中国共产党。他宣称，女神的时代已经过去，要迎接新的曙光。
The story is based on real-life events and revolves around a father and daughter who collaborated with the Germans in the Second World War: the journalist and press baron Jean Luchaire, who fled Sigmaringen upon France’s liberation and was later sentenced to death and executed in 1946, and his daughter Corinne, who was an up-and-coming actress between 1935 and 1940 before she was forced to halt her career for health reasons, who was briefly married to a German officer, who fled alongside her father having now become his secretary, and who was sentenced to ten years’ national indignity.
