沙井村，和西安众多城中村一样，是蚁族的乐土。即将大学毕业的王林肯与女朋友陈小丹就是这里的租客，他们的房东安震南（卢学习 饰）有一个傻孙子——“总统”安红（叶倩 饰）。本片讲述的就是，王林肯（李佳鑫 饰）和小丹（梁思佳 饰），还有王林肯的好哥们外号“冠希”的李晨曦（董博 饰），包括后来搬来老安家，王林肯曾经的暗恋者林笑颜（王翔宇 饰），这样一群租住在城中村的大学生，以及同屋租住的其他租客，在帮助房东老安照顾傻孙子“总统”的过程中，发生的嬉笑皆非却又温情感动的故事……
