　　Five women are running an old hotel and trying to save it from inexorable decay. Viver Mal is the reverse shot of Mal Viver, which is screening in the Competition: here, João Canijo reveals everything that was floating in the depth of field in this film’s mirror image. Reality becomes the intertwining and multiplication of different points of view; the intersection between what can be seen and what the eye misses. Like a play of light reflections, Viver Mal is Mal Viver in another dimension. The image is distorted, but at the same time seeks a new definition by relaunching itself into infinity.

Andrea Absolonová was a talented Czech professional diver with a bright career ahead of her. However, her sports career had been cut short by a spinal injury during a training session at the Atlanta Olympic Games. She then embraced a professional career in the adult entertainment industry, where she became an internationally recognized porn actress. She died at the age of 27.

                               　　Rebellious teenager Natsumi arrives from Tokyo on a small provincial island in search of the treasure left by her deceased mother. She’s in shock to find out that Reiko – her aunt – is a local Ama-San, a traditional Japanese pearl diver. Reiko is her mother’s identical twin sister. Because of the yearslong conflict between the sisters, the aunt and the girl have never met or even heard about each other till now. The aunt is reluctant to welcome the girl, who reminds her of her bitter past, and wants to get rid of her. Natsumi has to find a way to resolve the old conflict and reunite the family to find the underwater treasure left by her mother and save herself from the big trouble she is in. Japanese 1990s pop songs from the aunt’s youth will be an unexpected ally.

Written by Anaïs Tellenne, the story revolves around the character of Raphaël. Nearing sixty with a blind eye and an imposing physique, he’s well aware that people are afraid of him. He lives with his mother in a detached house located on a vast estate attached to the manor house of which he is the caretaker. He’s been leading a tranquil life since the owners passed away, but everything changes one night when their heir, Garance, returns to the family home…

 プロボクサーの神山英次は、フィリピンで再起を図っていたが、試合は組まれず、40歳を迎えた。そんな神山の元に、長く音信不通であった娘、桃子が訪ねてきたことから、物語の歯車は回り始める。妻の死に、居場所をなくした桃子は、神山を頼り、海を越えてきたのだ。 長く離れていた二人の距離が簡単に埋まるはずもない。 異国の地フィリピンで始まったぎこちない共同生活、二人は親子の形を模索する。 どこかに「もう一人の自分」を感じさせる娘との、ぎこちなくも、優しさを感じる日々。 視野が狭かった神山も、次第に周りを見渡すことができるようになっていく。 桃子だけではない。そこには、まわりの人たちの眼差しがあった・・・ そんな中、奇跡的に試合が組まれ、英次は自分たちの居場所を手に入れるために戦う決意をする。この物語は、ボクシングを背景に、「親」、「子」の成長と存在を描く。

本作品以广岛·尾道为舞台，描写了经营小豆腐店的父亲和女儿之间温馨的爱情。藤饰演憨直且具有匠人气质的父亲·高野辰雄，麻生饰演每天和父亲二人三脚做豆腐的女儿·春。                                    
                               　　中村久美饰演因偶然的相遇而变得亲密的单身老妇人·中野ふみえ。固执的辰雄被吸引，编织出淡淡的恋情。
